With college football expanding its playoff format to 12 teams, there's not much stopping Memphis now from the big stage.

It's Ryan Silverfield's fifth season at the helm of the Tigers, who have been to three bowl games under the coach, winning all of them. Now they head into the 2024 season as the favorites to win the American Athletic Conference and, just maybe, earn a playoff berth.

What happens in this year's postseason is unpredictable with all the changes to the league. But that's what benefits Memphis. A consistently good football program through the past few seasons, it's shown it can hang with big dogs, especially after beating Iowa State last year to end the season 10-3. And with Seth Henigan back for his fourth and final showing in Memphis, the pieces may all fall together this time as the program eyes a spot in the CFP.

It's going to be one interesting year for Memphis. To make sure you don't miss a minute of any game, here's how to listen to every Tiger football radio broadcast.
