A couple of snarky radio hosts learned that the hard way Wednesday when they tried to give the Michigan State coach a hard time and got hit with the silent treatment.

Dantonio, who has led the Spartans to at least 11 wins in each of the past three seasons and bowl games in all nine of his seasons at the school, tried to be as gracious as possible with personalities Mike North and Andy Furman on the national "Fox Sports Daybreak" show. First, they asked him if Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh had gotten into his head. Then came a question about whether the Spartans get enough respect.

The straw that broke the camel's back was North taking umbrage with Dantonio saying they were asking questions that didn't make any sense. North followed up by asking for an injury update and information on a starting quarterback. That's when Dantonio introduced him to his brother Tone, Dial Tone.
