Mitchell, who was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, wrote the book last summer after he joined an all-women's book club.

The book is about a magician named David whose power is through books.

Before joining Georgia's squad in 2011, Mitchell only had a middle-school reading level. However, a chance encounter with a woman at a Barnes and Noble changed everything.

His love of reading grew exponentially after the woman convinced him to join her book club, which consisted mainly of women over 40 years old.

"The book club helped me grow into a better individual," Mitchell said, "a person who learns and grows throughout life."

And now, he's an award-winning author.
