The Georgia State Police released a "supplemental crash report" Wednesday morning detailing the findings of their investigation into the June 29 car accident that killed former Auburn tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen.
Lutzenkirchen, 23, who played for the Tigers from 2009-12, was killed in a one-car crash along with Joseph Ian Davis in the early morning hours of June 29. The investigation found Davis, 22, had a blood-alcohol level of .17 at the time of his death, which is more than twice as much as Georgia's legal limit of .08.

The investigation also found that Davis and Lutzenkirchen were not wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
The drug tests of the two men are still pending, while neither a drug nor alcohol test were administered to the two survivors of the crash, Christian Case and Elizabeth Craig.
A native of Marietta, Ga., Lutzenkirchen had been an undrafted signee of the St. Louis Rams after recording 59 passes for 628 yards and 14 touchdowns in his four years as a Tiger.
