While Kansas State might be one of the favorites to win the Big 12 Conference football title in 2024, they’ll have to do so without any marquee names headed into the season.

Kansas State was completely shut out of the preseason All-Big 12 Team selected by the media that was released on July 3 — 30 spots and not one Kansas State player among them.

The Wildcats went 9-4 in 2023 and finished the season ranked No. 18 in the final Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

Kansas State was one of five teams that didn’t have any players make the preseason All-Big 12 Team along with Arizona State, Baylor, Houston and TCU. Oklahoma State led the way with five players, followed by Arizona with five players.

Kansas State was picked to finish second in the Big 12 in the media’s preseason poll, with 19 first-place votes.
