If you didn’t already know by now, Kansas running back Devin Neal has been one of the nation’s top college running backs the last two seasons.

Now, PFF has the Lawrence (Kansas) High School product among the top NFL prospects at running back for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Neal rushed for over 1,000 yards each of the last two season. He was named All-Big 12 in 2023 after rushing for 1,209 rushing and 15 touchdowns while averaging a robust 6.6 yards per carry. Neal also had 24 receptions for 214 yards and 1 touchdown.

From PFF: “Neal has been one of the most productive running backs in the nation over the last couple of seasons. Since 2022, the junior’s 2,373 rushing yards trail only Quinshon Judkins and Blake Corum among Power Five rushers. His 25 rushing touchdowns in that span are third in that same group to Corum, Judkins and Audric Estime. He’s an incredibly shifty back with elite change-of-direction ability, frequently breaking defenders’ ankles with his jump cuts.”

Neal was at his best for Kansas down the stretch in 2023, rushing for over 100 yards in four of the last five games of the regular season, including three consecutive games to close out the year.
