With a 16-yard strike to Marcus Baugh in the second quarter of Ohio State’s game against Rutgers, J.T Barrett broke the record for most passing touchdowns in Buckeyes history.

The touchdown pass was the 58th Barrett has thrown for Ohio State, surpassing the 57 by Bobby Hoying.
It took Barrett, a junior, just 27 games to accomplish the feat, and with most of this season and all of next, he’s got plenty of time to add to the tally.

The record-setting touchdown pass was the third of the game for Barrett, and he added a fourth before halftime, giving Ohio State a 30-0 lead at the break.
