Joey Bosa, one of the nation's top defensive players, and three more Ohio State players will miss the season opener for the Buckeyes at Virginia Tech after being suspended, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
H-backs Jalin Marshall and Dontre Wilson along with receiver Corey Smith will sit the opener, according to a statement from the university. The suspension is due to an "unspecified violation of athletic department policy."

“I kind of knew about this for a little bit," Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said at his Big Ten Media Day appearance Thursday. "The athletic department has policies, and we are 100 percent fully supportive of it. Whether it’s a sprained ankle or stuff, you move forward.”
But Meyer did not go into details.
“Internally it was a violation of team policy, and that’s as far as we’ll go," he said.
Bosa recorded 55 tackles last season for the Buckeyes, but was one of the nation's biggest defenders behind the line. He recorded 21.0 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks.
Marshall was second on the team with 38 receptions and added 499 yards and six TD receptions. He also ran for 145 yards and a touchdown and led the team with 11.8 yards per punt return and a score. Wilson added 21 receptions for 300 yards and three scores and added another 100 on the ground. Smith had 20 catches for 255 yards.
