His reason for visiting: to flip the nation's top kicker prospect, Quinn Nordin, from Penn State to Michigan.

One minute after the end of the recruiting "dead period" Thursday, Harbaugh was preparing for a sleepover (yes, a sleepover) at Nordin's house.
Concerned that Nordin might possibly miss class during the day, Harbaugh — khaki-clad as always — joined the senior at Rockford High School.

Regardless of Nordin's stance, the town was divided during the visit. Some neighbors weren't so welcoming.

Despite Nordin's Nittany aspirations, Harbaugh still has a chance to sway him, according to 24/7 Sports. The kicker has official visits to Michigan on Jan. 15-17, Penn State on Jan. 22 and Baylor on Jan. 31.
