Jim Harbaugh has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way since taking the Michigan job in December. First it was SEC coaches, then it was defensive lineman Ondre Pipkins.

Now, he's upset a fifth-year senior.

Harbaugh told every fifth-year player they would have to try out during spring practice to remain on the team, according to the Columbus Dispatch. Former tight end Keith Heitzman was one of those players and told the Dispatch he wasn't happy about having to try out.

“Obviously, Harbaugh coming in was going to change things at Michigan — do things his way,” said Heitzman. “But I didn’t know if I wanted to try out. That definitely took me off-guard. I was bummed out.”

Heitzman found a spot on another team, though — he recently transferred to Ohio and is eligible to play for the Bobcats this fall.

Other fifth-year players to transfer from Michigan since Harbaugh's hiring include backup quarterback Russell Bellomy, running back Justice Hayes and cornerback Blake Countess.
