Rivalries continue this weekend at MetLife Stadium, and it's not for an NFL game. Howard and Morehouse meet for the third Toyota HBCU New York Classic college football game.
The two programs met in the inaugural edition of the classic in 2022. Then, the Bison shutout the Maroon Tigers for a 31-0 victory. That marked six straight wins for Howard over Morehouse, who have never won the matchup.
And the Bison are riding a high, opening their home schedule with a thrilling, 32-31 victory over Mercyhurst thanks to a field goal as time expired. The Maroon Tigers, on the other hand, are still looking for their first win of the season but are prepared to do so against their rival in a historic meeting for the HBCU programs.
