In a special Friday night game featuring New England rivals, the Harvard Crimson (1-1) will host the New Hampshire Wildcats (3-1) tonight at Harvard Stadium.
After starting the season with a head-turning 35-0 win over Stetson two weeks ago, Harvard suffered a heartbreaking 31-28 loss to Brown in Providence last Saturday. QB Jaden Craig has thrown five touchdowns on the young season, three of which have been to fellow junior Cooper Barkate.
New Hampshire, meanwhile, has faced a different early-season fate. The Wildcats got destroyed 57-3 to UCF in Week 1, but have since broken off three straight wins over Holy Cross, Stonehill, and Bryant, respectively.
QB Seth Morgan has been brilliant for UNH, racking up 954 yards and 12 TDs — 10 of which have been caught by the stud receiver trio of Caleb Burke, Logan Tomlinson, and Joey Corcoran. Isaac Seide has also averaged 72.3 rushing yards per game.
New Hampshire has yet to defeat Harvard in seven head-to-head meetings, so the Wildcats likely had this game circled on their team calendar. Don't be surprised if this one turns out to be a classic early-season college football matchup.
