In the latest piece to the Grambling football story, the football team has elected to not travel to Jackson State for its game Saturday, Gramblinite.com reported Friday.

As reported before, GSU AD Aaron James and Dr. Pogue stated this morning they will travel to Jackson. The team, however, will not.

Earlier this week, the entire team skipped practice as part of an ongoing dispute with university officials. On Thursday, interim head coach George Ragsdale was fired.
Grambling has lost 17 consecutive games and is 0-7 this season. After the first two weeks of the season, Doug Williams was fired.
