Tee it up between the hedges. Georgia football opens its 2024 home schedule Saturday with a matchup against Tennessee Tech.
The Bulldogs opened up their season in Atlanta with a dominant 34-3 win over Clemson. Freshman running back Nate Frazier turned heads with his team-leading 84 yards and touchdown. Quarterback Carson Beck threw for 278 yards, and the renowned Georgia defense held the Tigers to just 188 yards. While it was a slow start, the Dawgs barked back soon enough to show why they're the No. 1 team in the country.
Meanwhile, the Golden Eagles will simply look to cause some havoc in Athens. In their season opener, they fell to Middle Tennessee 32-25, unable to play spoiler.
It's unlikely Tennessee Tech will get the upset against Georgia, but stranger things have happened, especially in this new era of college football.
