It's Dawgs vs. Cats. Who will it be?
Kentucky hosts Georgia in Week 3 of college football. While the Wildcats' second conference matchup of the year, it'll be the Bulldogs' first. The two programs are familiar foes, facing off every year since 1956. But lately, it hasn't been much of a contest. Georgia's won the past 14 matchups.
Could a familiar face be the difference this time? Former Bulldog quarterback Brock Vandagriff is expected to lead the Wildcats this season as they fight among the new and improved SEC.
Of course, Georgia is no easy opponent. Despite losing many stars to NFL, including TE Brock Bowers, the 2021 and 2022 national champions are expected to be just as dominant in college football in 2024. A slight chip on the shoulder from last year's playoffs may be just what it needs to add a fifth banner.
