The highly anticipated college football season is underway, with a marquee matchup between Georgia and Clemson on Saturday, an early-season test for two College Football Playoff hopefuls.

This time around, the Tigers and Bulldogs will face off in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. They last met in the 2021 season opener, where Georgia was victorious 10-3. Since then, Georgia has won two national titles, and Clemson looks to get back to its glory in the ACC.

Georgia missed out on the playoff after a loss in the SEC Championship Game to Alabama, spoiling the team's perfect season. The Bulldogs enter 2024 as national title favorites, returning many of their stars including quarterback Carson Beck.

Clemson finished 9-4 last season, falling short of the playoff for the third straight season. It was also the first time the Tigers failed to win 10 games since 2011, Under coach Dabo Swinney and Year 2 of offensive coordinator Garrett Riley, the team will hope to see some improvements. Quarterback Cade Klubnik returns along with multiple stars on the defensive side.

The two teams will face off for the second time in four years at a neutral site. Who will come out with the win?
