Georgia and Clemson meet in Atlanta to kick off their 2024 seasons. There's nothing better than a good old Southern classic.
The No. 1 Bulldogs have the (almost) homefield advantage at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. They have a lot to prove this time around after missing last year's CFP thanks to a loss in that very venue. But it's a new year, a new playoff format, and a new chance to establish themselves as the best in the country.
The No. 14 Tigers would love nothing more than to get the upset. Despite a track record under head coach Dabo Swinney of being an ACC powerhouse, they haven't made the playoffs since 2020. Now's their chance to return. Still, they need a few quality wins to build their resume. Beating Georgia would certainly establish that.
