Arizona has a roster full of NFL talent — a big reason why ESPN’s Greg McElroy put the Wildcats in his preseason Top 25 rankings at No. 22 in their first year in the Big 12 Conference.
Arizona is one of six Big 12 teams to make the Top 25 along with No. 16 Oklahoma State, No. 18 Utah, No. 19 Kansas State, No. 23 West Virginia and No. 24 Kansas.
The Wildcats return quarterback Noah Fififta, the Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year, along with All-Pac-12 wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan and offensive tackle Jonah Savaiinaea, who are both projected as first-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Arizona opens the season on Aug. 31 at home against New Mexico.
