LSU running back Derrius Guice isn't going to let something like his teeth stop him from playing Saturday vs. BYU.
The SEC’s top rusher said he will play in the Tigers’ opener after recovering from the removal of his wisdom teeth. His status was in doubt after coach Ed Orgeron said Monday he wasn’t positive Guice would be fully healed from the procedure.

Guice put any worries about his availability to rest Tuesday.
“I’m always 100 percent,” Guice said (via The (New Orleans) Times-Picayune). “My teeth ain’t holding me back, dog.
"I don’t care if they pull all of them out. I’ll be ready this week.”
AL-KHATEEB: Guice poised to run out of Fournette's shadow
Guice split time with former Tigers standout Leonard Fournette last season and took advantage of his opportunities. He appeared in 12 games for the Tigers, starting six, and averaged 115.6 rushing yards per contest, second in the SEC. Guice led the conference with 1,387 rushing yards and finished second with 15 rushing touchdowns.
BYU-LSU was originally scheduled to be played in Houston’s NRG Stadium, but the game was moved to the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans because of flooding caused by Tropical Storm Harvey. Kickoff is set for 9:30 p.m. ET.
