South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw did not return to Saturday’s game after suffering a left knee strain late in the fourth quarter, according to reports.
The Gamecocks were clinging to a 21-20 win against Tennessee. But that lead didn't last. Tennessee's Michael Palardy kicked two fourth quarter field goals—the final one from 19 yards on the game's final play as the Vols stunned the 11th-ranked Gamecocks.

Shaw was just 8 of 22 passing after a slow start, but had 167 yards with a TD and interceptions. He also gained 76 yards on the ground and scored on a 1-yard run in the third quarter.
