Deion Sanders and Colorado have made themselves the center of the college football world. Is this the day the momentum comes to a screeching halt?
LIVE: Updates, highlights from Colorado vs. Oregon as Pac-12 heavyweights collide
The Buffaloes are three-touchdown underdogs against No. 10 Oregon, after barely squeaking by Colorado State in a 2OT thriller last Saturday. Did that game serve as a wake-up call for Colorado, or was it a sign that the magic is fading?
Colorado has been arguably the best story in sports, but the Ducks have aspirations of competing for a national championship. If Sanders' squad can go on the road and give Oregon a scare, it will be the best indication yet that this kind of success is sustainable.
Colorado will be without two-way star Travis Hunter, who suffered a lacerated liver in last week's win, but two Heisman Trophy candidates will be on the field in Eugene. Buffaloes QB Shedeur Sanders kept his hopes very much alive with an excellent second half against the Rams in Week 3, while Oregon QB Bo Nix has yet to throw an interception through three games.

Colorado vs. Oregon start time

It's rare for a game with a 21-point spread to have as many eyes on it as this one does, but fans want to see if Colorado can do the impossible against a Pac-12 powerhouse.
It continues to be a bit of an awkward situation out West, with several national contenders playing in a conference that will effectively disband in less than a year, but the Ducks have hopes that go beyond simply winning the Pac-12 crown. A win over Colorado would put Oregon on track to be undefeated heading into its Week 6 showdown with current No. 8 Washington.
