Deion Sanders and Co. will begin Year 2 Thursday night as they welcome North Dakota State to Folsom Field.
Sanders brings in a sturdy-looking offensive line this season, with key additions like Jordan Seaton and Yaikiri Walker. Line play was one of the key factors in Colorado losing eight of its last nine games in 2023 as it allowed 52 sacks, the most in the country.
Now that Coach Prime has addressed that loophole, and QB Shedeur Sanders has another year of experience under his belt, the Buffaloes are hoping to open with a massive win in Boulder for their home fans.
But Sanders will not be underestimating the nine-time FCS champion North Dakota State. The FCS powerhouse went 11-4 last season, and is expected to put up a tough fight with starting QB Cam Miller at the helm against the Buffaloes.
