To quote one of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders' favorite sayings, he doesn't have time for the "bulljunk" when it comes to rumors about his team.

Sanders addressed a report from Athlon Sports on June 12 which cited unnamed sources that said the head coach forced Colorado's players to attend a Lil Wayne concert in Boulder, Colorado, following the Buffs' spring game on April 27. Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, Deion Sanders' son, was the opening act.

"This is one of the best lies I’ve heard," Sanders posted on X in reply to a now-deleted post. "God bless u and I pray u sleep well tonight because we are. Lawd JESUS."

Shedeur Sanders performed his original song, "Perfect Timing" at the CU Events Center alongside his older brother, Deion Sanders Jr., while his older brother, Colorado safety Shilo Sanders, and boxer Ryan Garcia stood behind him, as well as members of Colorado's offensive line.

Shedeur Sanders is considered a top quarterback prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft and is the No. 1 college football player in On3.com's NIL Valuations at $4.7 million.
