A trio of college football bowl games are scheduled for today, some of which will feature very different players than they've had all season.
The first matchup of the day, Bowling Green vs. Minnesota, will see one side start a quarterback with a plethora of experience and another one without much. Falcon's starter Connor Bazelak is on his third collegiate team and threw for 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season. The Golden Gophers, meanwhile, will start Cole Kramer under center with Athan Kaliakmanis hitting the transfer portal. Kramer has attempted 14 passes in five seasons in Minnesota.
Wide receiver Luke McCaffrey, the brother of San Francisco star running back Christian McCaffrey, will take center stage for Rice against Texas State in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl. He has 68 receptions for 963 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. Both sides have solid offenses – Rice averages 30.2 points per game while Texas State averages 36 points per game – but Texas State's defense also allows 33.8 points per game.
Finally, Kansas takes on UNLV in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl to end the night. Quarterback Jason Bean went 3-2 as a starter in place of the injured Jalen Daniels and just threw two touchdowns for 250 yards on 17 attempts in the Jayhawks most recent win over Cincinnati. UNLV is coming off a two-game losing streak, including a 44-20 loss to Boise State in the Mountain West title game.
In total, Tuesday's lineup includes three total bowl games with a variety of teams and players. Here's everything you need to know about the game schedule, including teams, times, location, TV channels and streaming options.

Bowling Green vs. Minnesota
Minnesota plodded into the postseason after four consecutive Big Ten losses despite a solid start to the season. The Golden Gophers have only averaged 20.2 points per game this year while giving up 26.9 points per game. They'll have a Falcons offense scoring 26.3 points per game and allowing 23.5 points. Minnesota is 11-12 in career bowl games while Bowling Green is 5-8.
Texas State vs. Rice
This game could be a high-scoring affair with both teams averaging more than 30 points per game. Backup quarterback AJ Padgett led the Owls to two consecutive wins to end the season and threw for three touchdowns against Florida Atlantic. Rice is 7-6 in bowl games. Texas State, meanwhile, will lean on TJ Finley under center once more. They're 4-0 when he doesn't throw a pick and 0-3 when he throws for more than two. The Bobcats are playing in their first-ever bowl game.
Kansas vs. UNLV
Jason Bean leads the Jayhawks in this one, while UNLV's starting quarterback is a serious question mark with Jayden Maiava on the fence about the transfer portal. Nevertheless, Kansas averages 33.6 points per game while UNLV averages 34.3. Kansas will look to running back Devin Neal to lead the charge against a weak UNLV run defense. The Jayhawks are 6-7 in bowl games, while the Rebels are 2-3 in bowl games.
