College football polls: Updated AP Top 25, Coaches Poll after Week 5 image

Week 5 around college football didn't feature as many fireworks as the loaded Week 4 schedule did, but there was still plenty of Top 25 action.

The game of the day turned out to be Ole Miss' victory over LSU, which featured 104 points and a last-minute, game-winning touchdown by the Rebels. Lane Kiffin's team asserted itself after a painful loss to Alabama, while any playoff hopes LSU had disappeared.

No. 11 Notre Dame avoided a drop in the rankings by scoring a last-minute touchdown to outlast No. 17 Duke, despite a great effort from the Blue Devils.

Elsewhere, No. 10 Utah took a Friday night loss at No. 19 Oregon State, positioning the Beavers to jump in Sunday's polls. No. 22 Florida is set to fall out of the rankings after a blowout loss to Kentucky, while No. 1 Georgia is clinging to the top spot after narrowly escaping Auburn.
