College football Week 2 scores: Highlights from Oklahoma, USC, Georgia, Clemson wins image

One of the greatest opening weeks in college football is over, but don't worry: It won't disappoint in Week 2 with another full slate of blockbuster games.

Four top-25 teams will go head-to-head Saturday.

Saturday's slate of monster matchups starts at 7 p.m. ET with an ACC-SEC showdown between Clemson and Auburn. At 7:30 p.m., Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma travel to The Shoe in a must-win game against J.T. Barrett and Ohio State in what could be a career-defining game for both quarterbacks.

Also at 7:30 p.m., Notre Dame looks to build off a solid Week 1 win by beating Georgia, which features the talented rushing duo of Nick Chubb and Sony Michel. And at 8:30 p.m., USC has the opportunity to prove it slow start was a fluke when Stanford comes to town.

11:27 p.m. — Baker Mayfield leaves his mark...with an Oklahoma flag planted in the middle of OSU's field. 

11:20 p.m. Sooners top the Buckeyes, 31-16.

10:21 p.m. — Lee Morris finds the endzone. Sooners are up 17-13.

9:57 p.m. — Mack goes down hard and is carted off the field. 

9:50 p.m. — Scratch that. Tie game again after this pass from Baker Mayfield to Dimitri Flowers. 

9:45 p.m. — Buckeyes take the lead in the 3rd quarter.

9:20 p.m. — Quiet night in Columbus so far. 

8:30 p.m. — Oklahoma fumbles a backward pass and OSU recovers.

6:45 p.m. — After almost two decades at the helm, the former Sooners coach returns to watch his old team.

No. 3 Clemson vs. No. 13 Auburn:

10:20 p.m. — Clemson defeats Auburn 14-6 and moves to 2-0. Clemson defense had 11 sacks, Kelly with 2 rushing touchdowns. 

8:25 p.m.Update: Crisis averted. Bryant is back in the game for Clemson.

8:07 p.m. — Clemson's Kelly Bryant goes down hard and exits the game. Redshirt freshman Zerrick Cooper takes over QB.

7:25 p.m. — Auburn with the early lead in Death Valley.

6:50 p.m. — One of the best entrances in college football. 

No. 6 USC vs. No. 14 Stanford:

11:55 p.m. — Sam Darnold finished with 316 yards and four TD in USC's 42-24 win against Stanford. 

11:35 p.m. — USC leads 35-24. 

10:50 p.m. — Holder came out of NO WHERE for this interception.

9:40 p.m. — 

9:27 p.m. — 

9:10 p.m. — Stanford ties it up with this 75-yard run. 

8:05 p.m. — 

7:30 p.m. — Will this be the year for a momentum shift??

No. 15 Georgia vs. No. 24 Notre Dame:

11:25 p.m.  The pass rush does it again for Georgia and the game ends on this Irish fumble. Georgia beats Notre Dame 20-19. 

9:00 p.m. — This one-handed catch from Terry Godwin was overturned for a Georgia TD. 

8:45 p.m. — Brandon Wimbush beats Georgia to the corner with a 1-yard TD run. Irish lead the Bulldogs 10-3 in the 2nd.

8:25 p.m. — Nice 30-yard run from Nick Chubb that resulted in a field goal for the Bulldogs.

7:00 p.m. — It's a home game for the Irish but it might not look or feel like it...
