There was some significant movement in the top 10 of The Associated Press college football poll after a wild Week 2.

A stunning 16-14 loss against Northern Illinois pushed Notre Dame from No. 5 all the way down to No. 18, dealing the Fighting Irish a major blow in their pursuit of a College Football Playoff berth. Michigan dropped from No. 10 to No. 17 after getting smacked by Texas, which jumped to No. 2 behind only top-ranked Georgia.

There were also a few close calls for ranked teams that managed to avoid upsets. Oregon defeated Boise State with a buzzer-beating field goal, Penn State overcame an early deficit against Bowling Green, and Oklahoma State needed two overtime periods in order to take down Arkansas.

Will college football fans see even more chaos this weekend?
