Need a favorite California Big VIII football player? Great. You'll now choose John Krahn, a 7-0, 440-pound lineman for Martin Luther King High School in Riverside.

MaxPreps ran a short profile of Krahn, who began playing football in high school and now anchors King's offensive and defensive interiors. The senior certainly needs some polishing, making him an ideal junior college prospect.

MaxPreps says Krahn is the largest football player in its high school database this season, and he's taller than anyone currently in the NFL.

Krahn is fascinating to watch. Below is a two-minute highlight video that features some of his best work on the field, and some moments next to comparably tiny people — like when a teammate and trainer tried to help him up after stretching, or when a swarm of opponents surrounded him in anger following a play.

He's like this 4-5 running back from Florida, only the complete opposite.
