What a shocking upset.
Penn State pulled off the unthinkable by knocking off Ohio State last week, 24-21, and did so in exciting fashion: a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown. The Buckeyes' playoff hopes are still alive, but we won't know who will represent the Big Ten East until the last week of the regular season.
This week, the in-state rivalry that was a marquee game heading into the season looks like a lopsided matchup now. Michigan is on the road against Michigan State, and the Spartans are on the verge of missing a bowl game if they lose to the Wolverines, marking their sixth-straight loss of the season. Plus, we've got a Big Ten West showdown between Nebraska and Wisconsin on the docket.
