The disrespect is real.
The Big 12 Conference placed just one team in the “Toughest Places to Play” Top 25 rankings from EA Sports ahead of the release of the hotly-anticipated EA Sports College Football 25 video game.
EA Sports released the list on June 25, with only Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, making the list at No. 18. The game is scheduled to be released on July 19.
Utah is in its first year in the Big 12 after coming over from the Pac-12 Conference. SEC schools took four of the top five spots with No. 1 Kyle Field (Texas A&M), No. 2 Bryant-Denny Stadium (Alabama), No. 3 Tiger Stadium (LSU), and No. 5 Sanford Stadium (Georgia).
Two teams which just left the Big 12 for the SEC in 2024 made the list with No. 8 Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium (Oklahoma) and No. 19 Darrell K. Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium (Texas).
Utah opens its season at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Aug. 29 against Southern Utah.
