What a difference a month makes.
On Aug. 11, the Big Ten decided to cancel the college football season for fall 2020. On Wednesday, the conference's Council of Presidents and Chancellors voted to reverse its decision and announced plans to begin playing the weekend of Oct. 24.
The move makes the Big Ten eligible for the College Football Playoff — and Big Ten teams, fans and even President Donald Trump took to social media to celebrate the news.
