Things aren't looking good for Baylor quarterback Seth Russell.
In his postgame press conference, head coach Art Briles said Russell strained his neck during a play against Iowa State, but that diagnosis has been downgraded.
Update on Baylor QB Seth Russell: X-rays and a CT scan revealed a fracture in one of the bones of his neck. Will see a specialist next week.

Luckily Baylor has a bye week before heading to Kansas State on Nov. 5, but Briles said he is "unsure" if his quarterback would be available by then.
Russell injured his neck on a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter and was replaced by backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham when the game was all but sealed.
