It’s not a secret that Colorado superstar wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter is one of the top prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft — how high Hunter can land and what position he ultimately ends up playing are the more pressing questions.

The Athletic’s Nick Baumgardner put Hunter at the top of his list of the top underclassmen prospects for the 2025 draft ahead of what will almost certainly be his final season of college football in 2024.

From The Athletic: “Hunter played more regular-season snaps from scrimmage (631 defense, 475 offense) than any other Power 5 player last year. That’s more than 1,000 total snaps — essentially a starting NFL defender’s load, as a true sophomore at two exhausting positions. Hunter’s 1,106 total snaps were the most of any P5 player in at least the last six seasons. He did it in his first year on that level, in just nine games.”

Hunter was a consensus All-American and the Paul Hornung Award winner as the nation’s most versatile player in 2023.

Colorado opens the season on Aug. 29 at home against North Dakota State.
