JONESBORO, Ark. — Arkansas State quarterback Fredi Knighten has been named Athlon Sports' Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week.
Knighten was honored Sunday after his performance in the Red Wolves' 28-14 victory over Louisiana-Monroe, the school's fifth straight win over ULM, giving the Red Wolves a 3-2 record.
Knighten completed 21-of-37 passes for 284 yard and a touchdown and ran for 71 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday night's win.
