There are a lot of great storylines about the Arizona football team heeded into 2024. 

The move from the Pac-12 to the Big 12. Quarterback Noah Fifita being a possible Heisman Trophy candidate. Wide receiver Teitaroa McMillan as one of the nation’s best wide receivers and a possible Top 10 pick. 

There’s also cornerback Tacario Davis, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound junior projected as a first-round pick at No. 19 overall to the Los Angeles Chargers in the latest 2025 NFL mock draft from USA Today

McMillan is projected as the No. 9 overall pick to the Las Vegas Raiders. 

Davis established himself as one of the nation’s top corners in 2023 after he led the Pac-12 with 15 pass breakups. Davis briefly entered the transfer portal after head coach Jedd Fisch left to take the job at Washington but ultimately decided to stay at Arizona and play for Brent Brennan.
