AP Poll: Florida State No. 1, Ole Miss and Mississippi State tied in top five

AP Poll: Florida State No. 1, Ole Miss and Mississippi State tied in top five image

The craziness of Week 6 is really felt in latest edition of the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Florida State remains at No. 1 with 35 first-place votes, while Auburn (23) and Mississippi State (2) also received votes.

Florida State is followed in the top five by Auburn, Mississippi and Mississippi State are tied for No. 3 and then Baylor. This is Mississippi State's highest ranking in the poll's history.

After losses, Alabama falls to No.7, Oklahoma to No. 11, Oregon to No. 12, Texas A&M to No. 13 and UCLA to No. 18.

New members of the poll include Arizona, off to it's best start since 1998, at No. 10, Arizona State at No. 20, Georgia Tech with its first ranking since Nov. 20, 2011, at No. 22 and Utah at No. 24 is ranked for the first time since Dec. 5, 2010.
