The College Football Playoff picture is taking shape and will be finalized Sunday.
Georgia headed into Saturday's matchup as the top team in the nation, but was upset by No. 8 Alabama, arguably ending Georgia quest for a third straight national championship.
Things got off to a good start for Georgia as the Bulldogs led 7-3 in the first quarter, but Alabama put up 14 points to the Dawgs' goose egg in the second quarter and the momentum shift never exactly swung to the other side after that.
Alabama ultimately got the best of Georgia in a way that will undoubtedly affect the College Football Playoff and Heisman Trophy picture.
Several personalities went to social media to express their thoughts about Georgia's loss to Alabama.
Alabama beating Georgia was the SEC’s Nightmare. The possibility of no SEC team being in the College Football Playoff is REAL. Washington is in. Texas beat Alabama so they are in. If Michigan and FSU win, then they are in. The committee can’t change up now to benefit the SEC. pic.twitter.com/tnEMQoPZRT

Really hope no one did an hour long podcast saying Georgia was going to destroy Alabama. That’d be a tough follow-up show on Monday.

If your logic tells you to put Alabama in over Texas, then that same logic must tell you to put Georgia in over Alabama, because clearly head to head doesn’t mean a thing.

See how dumb that sounds.
If the CFP committee really wants to put in the best 4 teams and not the most deserving, it’ll be:

1. Washington
2. Texas
3. Alabama
4. Georgia
Michigan got caught blatantly cheating. FSU is without at least 1 and possibly 2 QBs.
Simple.
Georgia literally can’t beat a healthy Alabama. Fact of life.
