#11 LSU vs. #7 Georgia, September 20, 2003
QB Matt Mauck threw a deep ball to Skyler Green for a go-ahead touchdown and a 17-10 victory over the Bulldogs. LSU and coach Nick Saban went on to win the BCS National Championship.
As reported to Joe Grobeck of FanBuzz, LSU radio host Charles Hanagriff said about the win “You think about the great Tiger Stadium games, and you almost always think of the great night games," says Hanagriff. "I still believe it's the most significant day win in Tiger Stadium history."
#1 LSU vs. #9 Florida, October 6, 2007
LSU scored 2 unanswered touchdowns in the fourth quarter, including the go-ahead score on a 2-yard run by RB Jacob Hester for a dramatic 28-24 come-from-behind win.
Chris Macaluso of lsusports.net asked Hester about the touchdown that put LSU ahead for good. Hester said “It was just a regular power play. We had been running it all night to the left side. We started from the left to the right, and it opened up. (Center) Brett Helms did a heck of a job, and we made the score.”
#10 LSU vs. #6 Alabama, November 6, 2022
On the LSU overtime possession, with Alabama leading 31-24, QB Jayden Daniels scored on a 25-yard run, then Daniels threw to TE Mason Taylor for a 2-point conversion to snatch a 32-31 victory from the jaws of the Crimson Tide.
