Following Iowa's victory over LSU in the Elite Eight on Monday night, college basketball icons Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese met for a brief handshake after game as the Hawkeyes advanced to the Final Four.

Both players left it all on the court. Clark dropped 41 points and added 12 assists and 7 rebounds. Reese, who fouled out in the fourth quarter, was phenomenal as well, scoring 17 points, recording 20 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks.

Many viewed it as a 'revenge game' for Clark, who fell to LSU in the national title a year ago and was taunted by Reese.

But after the clocks hit zeroes on Monday night in Albany, it was a pleasant exchange between Clark, LSU coach Kim Mulkey, and with Reese.

Clark appeared to whisper something to Reese during the handshake line:

And a look at Clark and Mulkey:

"I’d pay lots of money if Clark acted like she was taking a crown off Reese’s head and put it on herself in the handshake line," one posted.
