The TCU Horned Frogs will host the Texas Longhorns this Saturday for a Big 12 showdown on the Big 12 Network.

The Horned Frogs have made national news lately, as they were forced to forfeit two games after suffering a multitude of injuries to their team.

The team opened up tryouts to the student body, rostering four players; they picked up freshman Piper Davis, freshman Ella Hamlin and sophomore Mekhayia Moore.

The team also picked up sophomore Sarah Sylvester to play forward. Sylvester, who is 6 foot 3 inches tall, is a middle blocker on the school's volleyball team.

Despite their troubles, the Horned Frogs are 15-6 this season with a 2-8 record in the conference. They are 13-3 at home this season. They picked up their first win since forfeiting two straight games on Jan. 23, defeating UCF, 66-60.

The Longhorns are the No. 7 team in the country, as of this writing. They are 21-3 overall, suffering all three losses to Big 12 teams thus far. They've lost to Oklahoma, Baylor and Kansas State.

Madison Booker is leading the Longhorns, posting 15.6 points per game, along with 5.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists.
