Preschoolers send the most adorable letters to broken-hearted Tar Heels team image

It's not often that people in Durham are pulling for the other team on Tobacco Road, but this gaggle of preschoolers is too young to understand the rivalry, and just about cute enough to get away with the ultimate taboo for fans.

A preschool teacher at Triangle Day School decided to use UNC's crushing buzzer-beating loss in last week's national title game to teach her students to have compassion, so she helped her young kiddos write cards to send to the Tar Heels' basketball team, according to Raleigh's News and Observer.

"You won our hearts," wrote one little munchkin in a card addressed to Marcus Paige. Seriously too cute. Another wrote: "Sorry for not winning." Leave it to kids to tell it like it is, no matter how blunt.
