UConn looks to continue its torrid streak in the Big East with a big neutral game match against St. John's in New York City. The Huskies have won nine consecutive conference games, while the Red Storm are 1-5 in their past six games.

No one has been able to slow down UConn recently, as the Huskies have the fifth-highest scoring margin this year at 17 points. St. John's, meanwhile, is tied for 100th in point differential with six.  

UConn averages 81.6 points per game and allows 64.2 points per game. St. John's scores less and gives up more points this year – 77.2 points on offense compared with 70.4 points on defense.

The Huskies' guards of Tristen Newton and Cam Spencer lead the team this year. Newton averages 15.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game – all team-highs – while Spencer scores 14.9 points with 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists.

Center Joel Soriano is the top player for the Red Storm with 16.6 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Guards Daniss Jenkins and Jordan Dingle average 13.6 points and 10.7 points, respectively, while Jenkins leads the team with 5.6 assists.

While UConn's defense leaves a bit to be desired, their offense ranks third in offensive efficiency, per KenPom.com, where the Huskies rank third overall. The defending national champions have on of the slowest tempo rates, though, where they rank 326th, per KenPom. St. John's ranks 36th overall with an adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency rank in the 40s.
