For the second consecutive year, UConn has been crowned national champions without much resistance.
The Huskies rolled their competition in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, just as they did in 2023. They became the first team to repeat as champions since Joakim Noah- and Al Horford-led Florida in 2006 and 2007, but UConn's dominance was historic in this tournament.
The Huskies dismantled Purdue 75-60 in the title game, winning all six of their March Madness games by double-digits.

Zach Edey put up a fight with 37 points and 10 rebounds in the national championship, but he didn't get much help. UConn was able to shut off the Boilermakers' efficient 3-point shooting, holding Purdue to season-lows of just one triple on seven attempts.
The Huskies' offense was a well-oiled machine, dishing out 18 assists on 30 made field goals. Tristen Newton, Stephon Castle, Cam Spencer, and Donovan Clingan all scored in double figures, proving to be too deep and too talented for Purdue.
UConn's 2024 national championship squad will go down in history as one of the best teams college basketball has ever seen.
