The UConn Huskies remain undefeated and in first place in the Big East. Today, they'll take the DePaul Blue Demons in their first home match in 10 days.

UConn star Paige Bueckers scored a season-high 32 points in the Huskies 83-59 win over Seton Hall on Wednesday despite leaving with a minute neck injury in the third quarter. Bueckers returned after a three-minute absence and didn't appear to miss a beat.

Forward Aaliyah Edwards added 17 points and nine rebounds while guard's KK Arnold scored 15 and Nika Muhl added 10 assists.

DePaul got back on the winning front following a four-game losing streak that began before the start of the 2024 calendar year. The Blue Demons lost to two top-25 teams in the conference before they took down Xavier on Tuesday in a huge 79-47 win.

Guard Michelle Sidor came off the bench to score 19 points in the win, while Anaya Peoples tallied a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

UConn hasn't allowed a team to score more than 59 points since a New Years Eve day match with Marquette and it allows just 59.2 points per game on the year. Offensively, the Huskies score 84.1 points per game – 12th most in the country. On the other side, DePaul allows 67.4 points per game and scores 75.4 points per game.

The Huskies have endured a lot of injuries this year, but Bueckers and Edwards have kept UConn together as they look to make a postseason run this year. Bueckers is on a hot streak herself with 54 points in her past two games. Edwards added 33 points and 19 rebounds during that stretch.

It will be tough for DePaul to contend with that type of firepower. The Blue Demons are 2-8 when they give up more than their average, while the Huskies have scored fewer than 70 points just three times, but went 1-3.
