Texas will host UCF on Wednesday at the Moody Center in a Big 12 showdown.

The Longhorns are 12-4 this season, but they're 1-2 in the conference and unranked. Texas was the No. 12 team in the country earlier this season.

Recent losses to Texas Tech and West Virginia knocked Texas out of the top 25 for the first time this season. The Longhorns fell to West Virginia on Saturday, losing 76-73 on the road.

The Knights (10-5) also are 1-2 in Big 12 play. UCF hasn't been ranked this season, but does own an upset win over then-No. 3 Kansas last week and a five-point loss to No. 18 BYU last weekend.

Max Abmas is leading the Longhorns this season, averaging 18.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. He's shooting 46% from the field and 41.3% from beyond the 3-point line.

Jaylin Sellers is leading the Knights, posting 17.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. Darius Johnson is the only other Knight posting double figures, putting up 14.4 points per night.
