The 10th-ranked Texas women's basketball team continues its rivalry with Kansas in a Big 12 matchup on Jan. 16.
The Longhorns are looking to bounce back from a 61-58 loss to No. 12 Kansas State. The setback dropped Texas to 16-2 overall and 3-2 in the Big 12.
Madison Booker led the Longhorns with 23 points. Booker is the only freshman in the country with three games of 20 or more points against ranked opponents. She tallied 20 points against No. 11 UConn and 25 points against No. 10 Baylor.

Four Jayhawks scored in double figures, with freshman S’Mya Nichols leading the way with 17 points. Holly Kersgieter added 16 points, while Zakiyah Franklin and Wyvette Mayberry each had 13 points. Franklin surpassed 1,700 career points for her career.
Taiyanna Jackson overcame foul trouble to finish with six points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots. Jackson moved into sixth on the Kansas all-time rebounding list with 858 rebounds, passing Vickie Adkins (852).
