Sweet 16 betting odds, previews, picks — What you need for Friday March Madness image

We're halfway through the Sweet 16, and the first night left us with little intrigue — all four favorites covered with ease.

Four Sweet 16 games are on tap Friday night, starting with Iowa State vs. Virginia shortly after 7 p.m. ET, and we're hoping the second day is a little more fun. UNC vs. Indiana will cap off the Sweet 16. Betting lines have already opened on the Elite Eight — get those here.

Here is the betting information and picks you need for each of Friday's Sweet 16 games.

Sweet 16 opening betting lines, totals

There has been some line movement in a handful of March Madness games this weekend, including. There was more movement on the Thursday games.

Odds to win the NCAA Tournament entering Sweet 16

With four games still needed to win the NCAA Tournament, a handful of teams still have pretty long odds to get it done — Indiana is listed at 25-to-1 and Gonzaga at 18-to-1. That's because there's still a long difficult road ahead, and each team has to win four independent events.

Pick: Iowa State vs. Virginia (-6, 141.5)

7:10 p.m. ET, CBS

This is a matchup of contrasting styles — Iowa State will want to get out in transition, while UVA is going to try to suffocate the Cyclones in the half court.

Pick: Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame (-1, 131.5)

7:25 p.m. ET, TBS

The total in this game has gone up two points since it opened. But we're more concerned about the side. The Linemakers' Micah Roberts believes the wrong team is favored in this game.

Syracuse vs. Gonzaga (-4.5, 134.5)

9:40 p.m. ET, CBS

We don't have a pick on this game, but Gonzaga looks like a real threat in this tournament. I, for one, hate betting against Syracuse outside of ACC play because you never know how teams will respond to their zone if they haven't seen it.

Pick: Indiana vs. North Carolina (-5.5, 159)

9:55 p.m. ET, TBS

Is Indiana a live dog? We think so. UNC has looked great since losing to Duke early last month, but the Hoosiers are much improved defensively and should seriously challenge the Tar Heels.
