The South Carolina Gamecocks will host the Tennessee Volunteers this Thursday on ESPN for an SEC showdown.

The Gamecocks are the No. 1 team in the country. They have yet to lose a game this season, winning 23 straight and singling themselves out as the only undefeated team in the country.

With undefeated overall and conference records, they remain at the top of the country and the SEC. They own the third best offense and the 10th best defense in the country.

Kamilla Cardoso is leading the Gamecocks, posting 13.8 points and 9.8 rebounds on average per game this season. The Gamecocks have seven women averaging at least 9.0 points per game.

The Volunteers, once the No. 11 team in the country, are now unranked. Early season losses to Florida State, Indiana and Notre Dame kicked them out of the rankings.

Jewel Spear is leading the Vols, posting 13.4 points per game. Rickea Jackson, who missed time from late November to late December, is posting 18.4 points per game this season.
