Purdue's Final Four win wasn’t the prettiest, but the Boilermakers are still dancing.
Zach Edey led his team with 20 points and 12 rebounds in the 63-50 win against No. 11 seed NC State. The performance marked his record-breaking sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament game with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds, surpassing David Robinson.

Led by their star, the Boilermakers secured their first national championship appearance since 1969.
The Boilermakers struggled with turnovers, notably in the first half. They totaled 16 for the game, eight in each half. They averaged 11.3 per game heading into the Final Four.
Lance Jones (14 points) and Fletcher Loyer (11 points) helped Purdue hold the lead for the entire game. Boilermakers guard Braden Smith struggled in some aspects of his game, shooting 1-for-9 and giving up five turnovers, but he also added six assists, eight rebounds and three steals.
DJ Horne was the bright spot for NC State, as he led the Wolfpack with 20 points on 8-of-21 shooting. March Madness breakout star DJ Burns Jr. finished with eight points.

7:47 p.m.: Horne hits another mid-range jumper to up his total to 20 points on 8-of-18 shooting. NC State trails 49-42.
7:40 p.m.: Edey with the rejection! He makes it look too easy and gets a bucket on the other end.

7:39 p.m.: Burns is back in the game and scores a fadeaway in the post with Edey guarding him. This broke an NC State field goal drought of 5:30.
7:35 p.m.: Lot of missed shots and turnovers in the second half on both sides, but Jones gives Purdue its largest lead with another 3-pointer. Boilermakers lead 45-33 with 12:40 remaining.

7:33 p.m. Mason Gillis drains the corner 3-pointer to break a 4:45 scoring drought for the Boilermakers. Purdue leads 42-33 with under 14 minutes to play.
7:31 p.m.: Middlebrooks picks up his third foul. That's him and Burns with three each with just under 15 minutes to play.
7:27 p.m.: Purdue picks up its 10th turnover of the night. The team averages 11.3 per game this season. The Boilermakers lead 39-33 with 15:52 remaining.
7:22 p.m.: Burns picks up his third foul with 18:28 remaining in the game. He stays in the game for now.
7:19 p.m.: Ben Middlebrooks and Taylor are starting the second half in place of O'Connell and Diarra.
