Schnatter is the founder and former CEO of Papa John's, which formerly had the naming rights to Louisville's football stadium, now called Cardinal Stadium. He is also a former member of Louisville's Board of Trustees.

It's a strong shift by Schnatter, who was a well-known Louisville fan before his fall from grace. It seems his preferences have shifted to the Cardinals' rival school.
It appears Schnatter's presence wasn't exactly a good luck charm, as the Wildcats fell to the Tigers on a controversial last-second tip-in.
